Rider's Workshop Schedule
The Rider's Workshops are conducted most weekends from Bob's BMW during the riding season.
Call 866-767-6900 for details.

Jim Ford of the Rider's Workshop is offering new Saturday complete Workshops through 2007. To learn more about The Rider's Workshop call 866-767-6900 or visit www.ridersworkshop.com.

To keep the rides fun and manageable, each Workshop is limited to FIVE riders. We strongly recommend that you contact Jim in advance to reserve your place in the Workshop. There is no assurance that by just showing up on a Saturday there will be space available. To make a reservation, call Jim at 866-767-6900 or send an email to jim@ridersworkshop.com. You can also meet with Jim at the store Wednesday evenings and Friday afternoons as his schedule permits.

Course of Action
A Saturday Rider's Workshop is broken down into three subgroups. The first subgroup is Discovering Invisible Roads. The primary idea here is to ensure that whenever you ride, you simply don't have traffic in front of you. The second subgroup is to ensure that whenever you ride, you're riding as safely as possible. The two primary ideas here are understanding Situational Awareness and understanding how to Read a Road, any road. The third subgroup is learning and practicing the Art of Riding Smooth. By the end of the day you will have learned how to "disappear" onto those Invisible Roads and how to ride them with a new level of expertise.

On Saturdays, riders will meet at Bob's at 8:30 AM sharp. You'll find Jim at the picnic table on the grass in front of the store. Jim will begin by reviewing the necessary maps and show you how to plan a route using Invisible Roads. He'll also show you how to configure a GPS for riding those same Invisible Roads. Afterward the group will set out and spend the day on a route Jim has set up that showcases some of the very best Invisible Roads in our area. Finally, Jim will provide high-end radio earbuds to each individual for one on one instruction/reinforcement, as well as to keep the group together.

You'll enjoy an exciting and educational day on your motorcycle. The cost is $125 and you'll get what you pay for!
Here's Jim's promise: If you're not thrilled with a riding experience you'll remember forever, and just as thrilled with riding skills you'll own forever, then there is a money back guarantee! Please make your payment either by cash or check payable to The Rider’s Workshop (since Bob’s BMW is not handling these transactions).

A few important things to remember:

1. Top off your gas tank BEFORE arriving at Bob’s in the morning.
2. Be on time! No accommodation is made for late comers to catch up to the group.
3. Your tires and other equipment must be safe. Jim will do a cursory inspection of each bike before the ride and he reserves the right to deny you a place in the ride if anything about your bike presents a safety risk.
4. In case of extreme weather, a ride may be cancelled. Those who have made reservations will be notified the night before the scheduled ride
